The Conscious Forms, awake.
The conscious mind is an interactive artwork made in our Kochi studio. It models attention, memory and decision as living light: a contour-lined sphere, a field of thought, and a tree of life that grows as you watch.
Press start to load it, then move your cursor or finger to steer its attention and switch between the Sphere, Mind and Tree of life views. Turn sound on for a quiet generative soundtrack that follows what the mind is doing. Nothing plays until you ask, and the microphone is only used if you click the mic button yourself.
The wiring comes from real connectome data published by FlyWire (Dorkenwald et al. 2024; Schlegel et al. 2024; CC-BY 4.0). The same curiosity drives our day job: see how we coordinate buildings in BIM 360, or browse our projects.
