Onion Blockchain is a product design commission for Onion Inc, completed in 2025. A blockchain is hard to picture, so the work gives it a visual language: a set of rendered isometric scenes in which each idea becomes a small, legible world. Translucent violet platforms carry miniature machines, interfaces and stacked cubes, and a spiralling stair rises towards a single sphere. Each scene is calm and self-contained, so one concept can be read at a time. We approached it as we approach a building, with structure first, then material and light, until an abstract system feels like a place that can be walked through and understood.

Researching user behaviours
The project began with an in-depth analysis of user behaviours related to dining out and reservation management. I conducted focus groups and user interviews to understand their preferences and pain points when booking tables.
Designing an interactive menu
One of the unique aspects of this project was designing an interactive menu feature. This allowed customers to browse the restaurant’s offerings in a visually appealing way, complete with detailed descriptions and images of dishes.
Optimising reservation management
Another key element was optimising the reservation management system. I created a streamlined booking process with features like real-time table availability, booking modifications, and automated reminders to enhance the user experience.
